Love coffee? Love hanging at the local coffee house? Here’s a very cool place in Chicago with an obvious passion for the product and a desire to create an amazing customer experience.
Killer design from the marbled bamboo plywood throughout to the kickass original sdiveet lights that illuminate the Barrista Bar. And check the back-lit perforated panels of the bar, suggesting the coffee filtering process. Once again showcasing that freakish creativity.
Valentine’s Day is just ’round the corner and all of us at Fred Flare are super excited! We’re all about enthusiasm in the office, and in order to get pumped and in the spirit of love, our General Manager Jen had the most amazing idea… she decided to give us each our own mailboxes.
You might think, why is a mailbox exciting? Well, every day, we write notes and leave them secretly in everyone’s little mailbox. It’s been totally fun and I hope we continue it throughout the year! Plus the office looks so colorful with all of those pink envelopes hanging off of our desks.
I have had a major crush on Nick Jonas since I was fourteen (no shame.) Yet, I never thought I’d be a fan who essentially stalks him. But that’s what occurred this Saturday when a friend and I waited outside the theater where Nick is currently starring in How To Succeed in Business. We waited in the cold for three hours, but it was totes worth it. I talked to him for like two minutes, and I have the picture to prove it. The fourteen-year-old version myself was dying of happiness (and, let’s be real, so was the present version of myself.)
I’m not sure if you guys know how cute Keith is… But he is. He’s real cute and I have proof. As I was hanging up my coat this morning I caught a glimpse of a book in Keith’s pocket. I swear I wasn’t snooping (how appropriate) but I saw that it was one of my old school faves and it totally melted my heart! Keith is reading “Harriet the Spy” and If he doesn’t know this already, he is in for a diveat! Oh Harriet. I heart you.
So, I was so blown away by Madonnz that I completely forgot about the other most important part of the Super Bowl. No, not the football… the commercials! My #1 Top Pick before the ‘Bowl was Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (Take 2), but now I can’t pick a fave. Which did you think was the best?
